From the talented hands of Ken Dushane III, aka Phybr,  this mural is a town favorite! This gorgeous vintage postcard style mural has local historic sites depicted in each letter. Located on the south side of the YMCA, 800 Hulin St.

Phybr is an internationally recognized muralist, fine artist, designer, and educator based in the United States. With over a decade of experience transforming walls into vibrant landscapes, his work is characterized by a fusion of modern surrealism, pop-inspired aesthetics, and captivating portraiture. Phybr's artistic journey is deeply rooted in the raw creativity of childhood and a persistent rejection of conformity. He invites viewers to explore the depths of his imagination, where each brushstroke evokes the unfiltered essence of youth and the transformative power of self-discovery. 

His artistic footprint extends across the nation, having participated in numerous mural festivals, music festivals, artist collaboration projects and solo mural installations. Phybr's impressive portfolio boasts collaborations with renowned clientele, including A$AP Rocky as a Creative Director for 2 weeks of multiple projects. He’s also worked with well-known artists and entrepreneurs Tee Grizzly and Mu, as well as with Universal Film Studios for advertising for the movie “Night Swim”. 

Phybr's dedication to community engagement is evident in his work with youth programs such as Young Artists at Work in Toledo, OH, and after-school art programs through the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI. Bringing cultural awareness and nurturing creativity remain passions that fuel his artistic endeavors. He continuously seeks opportunities to positively impact communities through the transformative power of murals and art education.
