Join the Charles City Arts Center for Global Cafe, a vibrant open-house fundraiser celebrating community, culture, and creativity. Staff and board members will cook and serve delicious dishes inspired by countries around the world—come hungry and leave inspired!

We’re seeking generous community members to contribute home-cooked dishes from diverse countries. Whether it’s a family favorite, a traditional recipe, or a regional specialty, your dish can help showcase the richness of global cuisine while supporting the Arts Center’s mission. It can be an appetizer, main course, side, or dessert- chef's choice!  

If you are a CCHS Silver Cord student, the Arts Center will buy the groceries for your dish (and of course we'll endorse your volunteer hours: cook time + serve time). We only ask that your dish is authentic to the country you choose, and that food prep is adult supervised. It's a great way to help serve your community & get some volunteer hours!
