St. John Christian Preschool T-Shirt Design Contest

Submit an original design for St. John Christian Preschool’s 50th Anniversary (1975-2025) - you will have your design featured

Please submit your design ideas by Oct. 16, 2025 (see complete rules and details below). All submitted designs will be judged by a panel and narrowed down to three designs per “year involved” group. These entries will be on display at the Charles City Arts Center for public voting from Oct. 22-25, 2025, during the hours of operation. The designs, in each “year involved” group, that get the most votes during this week will be featured as our 50th Anniversary Design.

The winning designs will be announced on October 30, 2025, on our host’s Facebook page, Charles City Arts Center. Winners will receive a free T-shirt featuring the new design!

Rules and details:

Open to any Alumni or current student of St. John Christian Preschool, or formerly Jack and Jill Preschool. Year(s) of attendance is required. 

Open to any past or present employee and any past or present volunteer of St. John Christian Preschool, or formerly known as Jack and Jill Preschool. Year(s) of employment or volunteering is required. 

Group A: involved 2015 -2025 

Group B: involved 2000-2015

Group C: involved 1975-2000

All entries must be the contestant's original work. Each contestant may submit two (2) designs. There is no fee to submit a design.

Designs must contain the text, "St. John Christian Preschool” and “50th Anniversary” and “1975-2025" 

*If not included, event information will be added to the winning design as applicable for various formats.

Designs must be submitted in a scalable PNG format with RBG color format. Image resolution should be at least 200 dpi, and size should be at least 1200 x 1200 pixels (any size ratio). Designs on paper may be submitted using an 8x8 or 10x10 white square. This original creation will be digitalized and modifications may need to be done for the transfer. Designs on paper may be dropped off or mailed to:

Hours of operation:  Wed-Fri 1:00pm-5:00pm Sat 10:00am-2:00pm

Submissions and contestant group information will be displayed during the public voting at the Charles City Arts Center. Winner’s first name and last initial, along with the involved year, will be advertised across various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook and print advertisements. 

The winners will be asked to provide the highest resolution/quality image they have available once the contest is finished. SJCP reserves the right to modify the winning design to fit various display formats (i.e. T-Shirts, Brochures, Posters).

Designs must be relevant to and support the goals of SJCP. We reserve the right to disqualify any designs that are not relevant, original, and/or of good quality (see image requirements above).
