CHARLES CITY, Iowa - We are excited to announce that on July 15th from 5-7pm we are hosting an opening reception for our new "Town of Colors" mural artists who will be getting underway soon on some brand new public art! We are soooo lucky to have that!

You can meet both Matt Litwin and Britt Flood at the free event AND enjoy appetizers and beverages. Hope you can make it!

Our July exhibit titled "Beyond the Mythic and Mundane" is up for a couple more weeks. Paintings, prints and ceramics from 3 artists - Alexis Beuclar, Elizabeth Powell, and Emily Magnuson. We posted a few photos from the July 1st reception to our Instagram and Facebook ...and even a posted a live Facebook video.

Stop in to see it if you haven't yet.

Opening receptions are sponsored by First Security Bank and Trust.

Here are a couple photos from that night:

We also started a monthly radio segment on KCHA where we will be talking about the upcoming exhibit and classes. It will be on around 8:07am on the first Friday of every month.

Here is a link to the first one if you missed it: KCHA Arts segment
