Anastasia Chloe
Anastasia is the artist behind this months exhibit. She is a graduate of UNI and currently is the photographer for the art gallery at her alma mater. Even cooler for this Arts Center is that she is a local and has been around the Charles City Arts Center for a good part of her life. It's quite gratifying to see one of our own come back and have a show. It's exhilarating that the show is this good! Here are a couple more examples.

Alongside the photos there are a couple of instillation/sculptural pieces that further explore the themes of place, time, memory and emotion. My feeble description can't encompass the works themselves. A video tour of the exhibit with the artist is available here.
The "professional" video is also nothing compared to seeing and hearing these pieces in person. Yes there is an audio component that I am having sooooo much fun with. That's four extra o's. The show is up and waiting for your eyes and ears until the 30th.
