CHARLES CITY, Iowa - First, let me start by saying "THANK YOU" to all of you who have supported us over the years and continue to do so today. You are appreciated. We can't do it without you. Thank you.
And another big THANK YOU to everyone who helped make Global Café on November 19th a big success. We had close to 20 different dishes all prepared by volunteers. Awesome. And we had super cool people who volunteered their time serving food and bussing tables. Not to mention the volunteer hours worked setting up and tearing down.

And a heartfelt Thank You! to Darci and Michael from Prologue Books and Wine for being part of the event and bringing some of their exceptional wines to pair with food. We were thrilled they were a part of the evening.
We are already looking forward to the next Global Café event. TBD.

Our next reception will be on Friday December 2nd as we kick off our Holiday Art Market. We will have Christmas cookies, food and beverages... AND Christmas decorations.
We will also have a live tree this year which has been generously donated to the Arts Center by Jeff and Lori Otto from Ottos Oasis.

We will also be hosting a mini-exhibit starting December 8th through the end of the year. Hand painted mandalas by artist DJ Schmidt.

If you are looking to do some Christmas shopping without the tiny recipients of those gifts tagging along, we have another Art and a Movie class coming up fast on Saturday Dec 3rd from 1-4PM. Your youngins (K-6th) will watch The Santa Clause and then decorate cookies. Snacks and cocoa will be provided.
*Feel free to have your child bring along a water bottle, blanket and/or a pillow.

Session 1 is Dec 8th and 15th from 4-5 PM and Session 2 is Dec 9th and 16th from 4-5PM.
